Welcome to the San Diego Aggies Competitive 7 on 7 Football and Flag Football
Our goal is to help build and develop athletes for the next level of football in a fun and competitive environment. Our program was established to provide the highest-level football instruction so that our athletes develop the skills, work ethic, and football IQ to flourish at the next level whether that be in high-school, college, or beyond.
Together with our staff of reputable coaches and trainers, we hope to foster a football environment for your son to be the best version of himself both on and off the field. We also teach our players to compete with class and sportsmanship.
We also want to create lifelong memories for young men and teach them values and lessons that will transcend all areas of their life.

San Diego Aggies Success
Than Merrill played in the NFL for the Chicago Bears and Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He was drafted in 2001 by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers out of Yale University. In college he was named First Team All Ivy League from 1999-2001. Than also played in NFL Europe with the Amsterdam Admirals and Barcelona Dragons. He was also a volunteer football coach at Yale University before starting several real estate investment businesses.
As an entrepreneur Than Merrill has over 18 years of professional experience in the real estate investment industry. He, Paul Esajian, and Konrad Sopielnikow are the founders and principals in several real estate investment companies and have acquired over $2 billion of commercial and residential real estate during that time frame. His investment companies have employed over 500 people throughout his tenure.

We will compete in both local and national 7v7 and flag tournaments. Some of the potential 2024 tournaments will be the following: Battle, Red Zone Elite, Pylon, Hard Count, and Shook.
